The Other Side Of Kona Race Week

Veterans Day (or Remembrance Day, for us Canadian folk – #sworry) has come and gone, and you know what that means – time for NBC’s Kona coverage*. Love it or hate it, it’s arguably the biggest yearly popularity boost for our sport.

By now, you’ve seen, heard, and talked all about this year’s edition of the Ironman World Championship. But if you weren’t on the big island in person, maybe you were left wondering what it really feels like to drink it all in while skinny, sweaty type-As go about their business. Well, thanks to our crack team of TRS Triathlon photogs**, now you can get a sneak peek into the life of a Kona spectator.

*NBC’s coverage of the 2015 Ironman World Championship will air this Saturday, November 14th at 1:30pm EST.
